Adobe’s Creative Technologies Lab (CTL)
Adobe’s Creative Technologies Lab (CTL) has openings in Seattle, the Boston area, San Francisco, and San Jose for student internships. We are looking for PhD students who are excited to push the state of the art in computer graphics, vision/audio research, visualization, HCI, and more — in ways that could be of interest to Adobe as well as the research community at large. We have just started recruiting for summer internships, and we would love to hear from you!
Interns will collaborate with one or more of the researchers in our lab, and will have access to world-class product groups and design teams. We regularly publish our work in top venues such as SIGGRAPH, CVPR, and UIST, while also exploring technology transfer opportunities. We are especially interested in fostering ongoing collaborations, and are open to projects that last beyond the summer and become part of your PhD thesis. We compensate interns well, and strive to create an environment that is both productive and fun.
Our Seattle lab is located in the chic Fremont area, directly on the water (you can kayak to work!) and connected by a bike path to UW. The Newton lab is located on the Green Line "T" with easy access to both Boston and Cambridge. The San Francisco lab is located in the trendy SOMA area, near the ballpark and a short walk from the Caltrain station. The San Jose lab is located at Adobe’s headquarters in the heart of downtown.
To apply, please send your CV to Paris Smaragdis (paris@adobe.com), with the subject line 'CTL intern:'. Internships will be granted on a rolling basis.
The Creative Technologies Lab, which I run, is part of Adobe’s
Advanced Technology Labs (ATL). The full team currently includes:
Aseem Agarwala (Seattle)
Shai Avidan (Newton)
Lubomir Bourdev (San Jose)
Mira Dontcheva (San Francisco)
Dan Goldman (Seattle)
Wilmot Li (San Francisco)
Wojciech Matusik (Newton)
Sylvain Paris (Newton)
David Salesin (Seattle)
Eli Shechtman (Seattle)
Paris Smaragdis (Newton)
Jue Wang (Seattle)
Holger Winnemoeller (Seattle)
Additional internship opportunities exist throughout the year, within our lab as well as other labs in ATL: the Visual Computing Lab, the Document & Application Technology Lab, and the Advanced Systems Technology Lab. To apply for internships in any of these other labs, please send your CV to SimplyBetterJobs@adobe.com.
